Redness & Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that can cause persistent redness, flushing, visible blood vessels and increased sensitivity, most commonly across the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead. Over time, repeated inflammation can affect the skin barrier and, in some cases, contribute to skin thickening, particularly around the nose.
Symptoms can flare in response to triggers such as sun exposure, heat, spicy foods, alcohol, certain medications, stress and intense exercise. While rosacea cannot be cured, tailored skincare and professional treatments can help support the skin barrier, reduce the appearance of redness and visible vessels, and help manage symptoms and flare-ups over time.
