By using our website, making a booking or purchasing a product, treatment, package, gift card or other service from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with any other terms that apply to the relevant purchase or treatment, including our Cancellation & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, applicable promotional terms and any relevant treatment consent documentation.

General information is not intended to replace individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Information about treatments and expected outcomes is general in nature. Individual suitability, treatment requirements and results can vary.

3. Products, Treatments & Orders

Products and treatments displayed on our website or through our booking and purchasing systems are subject to availability.

• payment cannot be processed;

Products purchased from Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics are intended for personal use unless otherwise agreed.

We may reasonably limit quantities of products available for purchase by an individual customer.

5. Prices & Payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed by Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

We may change our prices from time to time.

A change to our advertised prices will not retrospectively change the agreed price of a product, treatment or service that you have already purchased and paid for.

Promotional pricing may be available for a limited period and may be subject to additional promotional terms.

Payment must be made using a payment method accepted by Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics.

When using a debit card, credit card or other payment method, you confirm that you are authorised to use that payment method.

We are not required to dispatch products or provide paid services until the required payment has been successfully received, except where otherwise agreed.

The availability and operation of third-party payment methods may be subject to additional terms imposed by the relevant provider.

Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics is not responsible for delays caused solely by your bank, card issuer or third-party payment provider where those matters are outside our reasonable control.

Any handling of personal and payment information by Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Appointments & Treatments

Treatment availability may vary between Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics locations.

Some treatments require a consultation or assessment before treatment can proceed.

A booking does not guarantee that a particular treatment will ultimately be considered suitable for you.

Our treating professionals may decline, postpone or modify a treatment where they reasonably determine that proceeding would be inappropriate, unsafe or outside their professional scope.

Appointment cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, deposits, prepaid treatments, package expiry, transfers and refunds are governed by our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy.

8. Client Information & Consent

To assess your suitability and safely provide certain treatments, we may require you to complete consultation forms, medical questionnaires, consent forms or other documentation.

You may be asked to provide information including your:

• medical history;
• current or previous medical conditions;
• medications and supplements;
• allergies or sensitivities;
• previous treatments;
• pregnancy or breastfeeding status where relevant;
• relevant lifestyle factors; and
• other information reasonably required to assess treatment suitability.

You must provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

You must also notify your treating professional of any relevant changes before subsequent treatments.

If you choose not to provide information reasonably required to assess your suitability or safely perform a treatment, we may be unable to provide that treatment.

9. Treatment Suitability & Results

Treatment suitability is assessed on an individual basis.

Factors including medical history, medications, skin type, treatment area, previous treatments and individual characteristics may affect whether a treatment is appropriate.

Individual responses and outcomes vary. Unless expressly required by law or specifically guaranteed in writing, Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics does not guarantee a particular treatment outcome or that a particular number of treatments will achieve a specific result.

Before proceeding, clients should discuss expected outcomes, limitations, risks and the proposed treatment plan with their treating professional.

10. Children in Clinics

The safety and comfort of clients, children and staff are important to us.

Children must not enter treatment rooms where their presence may create a safety risk, interfere with the treatment or otherwise be inappropriate for the treatment environment.

Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics does not provide childcare or supervision of children.

Children attending a clinic remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times.

If bringing a child would prevent your treatment from being performed safely, you may be required to reschedule your appointment.

Any rescheduling remains subject to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

11. Cosmetic Aesthetics

Where Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics provides cosmetic aesthetic services, a consultation and clinical assessment may be required before treatment.

Treatment recommendations are made on an individual basis by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

A consultation does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be offered or considered appropriate.

The treating healthcare professional retains clinical discretion to determine whether a proposed treatment is suitable and may decline, postpone or modify treatment where clinically appropriate.

Treatment options, risks, expected outcomes and relevant alternatives will be discussed as appropriate during the consultation process.

Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Images displaying treatment outcomes, where used, relate to individual patients and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another person will achieve the same or similar results.

Information provided publicly by Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics about cosmetic aesthetic services is general information and does not replace an individual consultation with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

12. Gift Cards

Gift cards will have a minimum validity period of (3) years from the date of issues, unless a different period is permitted under applicable Austrlia law.

Gift cards:

• may be used towards eligible products or services offered by the issuing Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics location, subject to any conditions disclosed at purchase;
• must be used before their applicable expiry date;
• cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash except where required by law; and
• should be kept secure.

Where the value of a purchase exceeds the available gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method.

If a gift card is lost, stolen, damaged or otherwise compromised, please contact the issuing clinic as soon as possible. Our ability to identify, cancel or replace a gift card will depend on the circumstances and the information available to us.

13. Promotions & Special Offers

Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics may offer promotions, discounts or special offers from time to time.

Promotions may be subject to separate terms and conditions, including eligibility requirements, participating clinics, purchase periods, redemption periods, treatment exclusions and other limitations.

Where specific promotional terms are provided, those terms apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined with other offers.

We may withdraw or amend a promotion before a purchase is made where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law. 

Purchases already completed during a valid promotion will continue to be governed by the terms that applied to that purchase.

14. Price Match Policy

At participating Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics locations, we will match a competitor's current advertised price for the same treatment, provided it is performed using the same equipment and/or products and carried out by appropriately qualified staff.

The competitor must be located within a 5-kilometre radius of the Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics location where the client is seeking to redeem the price match.

Treatments Covered

The Price Match Policy applies to:

• Laser Hair Removal treatments;
• skin treatments and services; and
• in-store skincare products.

The Price Match Policy does not apply to:

• Cosmetic Aesthetics treatments;
• Full Body Laser Hair Removal treatments; or
• skincare products advertised by competitors through online retail or e-commerce websites.

Proof of Competitor Pricing

Clients must provide proof of the competitor's current advertised price at the time of purchase.

Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics reserves the right to contact the competitor and take reasonable steps to verify that the advertised price is genuine, current and applicable to the treatment or product being matched.

Quantity Limits

Clients may only purchase the same number of treatments as advertised by the competitor under the Price Match Policy.

Where no maximum number of treatments is specified in the competitor's advertisement, purchases are limited to a maximum of three (3) treatments per client at the matched price.

When the Price Match Must Be Requested

Clients must request the Price Match Policy at the time of purchase or before payment for the treatment or product is completed.

The Price Match Policy cannot be applied retrospectively and will not be available for treatments or products that have already been paid for or received.

Exclusions

The Price Match Policy does not apply to:

• offers available through group buying, discount, cashback, voucher or coupon websites;
• clearance, liquidation or closing-down sales;
• membership-only, employee-only or invitation-only offers; or
• pricing errors or misprints.

Right to Refuse

Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics reserves the right, at its sole discretion, not to match a competitor's price in certain circumstances, including but not limited to special promotions, limited-time offers, pricing that cannot be reasonably verified, or where matching the price would be commercially impractical.

This Price Match Policy may be amended, suspended or withdrawn at any time without notice.

We collect and handle personal information, including health information where relevant, in connection with bookings, consultations, treatments, purchases and use of our website.

• a client behaves in a threatening, abusive, discriminatory or unsafe manner towards staff or other clients;
• we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity; or
• providing the service would breach a legal, regulatory or professional requirement.

Where payment has already been made for a service that we subsequently cannot provide, any refund, credit or other remedy will be determined in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy and applicable law.

22. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and, where applicable, the laws of the State or Territory in which the relevant product or service is purchased or provided.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have regarding the appropriate jurisdiction for a consumer dispute under applicable law.

23. General

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as severed to the extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.

A failure by Specialist Skin & Laser Clinics to exercise a right under these Terms & Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right.
